Bird of Paradise boutique hotel is located near Alona Beach in Panglao, Bohol. It offers tranquil and luxurious accommodations, along with a restaurant, garden, and outdoor swimming pool.

The project was to create mural paintings for the hotel's eight rooms, with shadow plants as the theme. The goal was to make the murals an accent for the interior design, so the art had to be subtle, pale, and light to blend well with the room's color palette.

I had to ensure that the paint was visible even in dim light, so I experimented with different shades of gray paint.

One of the main challenge was to make the art consistent with the different rooms, as four rooms had the same design. To achieve this, I cut out card boards that served as my guide.

GARDEN STEPS DESIGN

As part of the project, we wanted to make the stone steps from the hotel rooms to the pool and garden look more appealing. To achieve this, we added a leaf accent by molding cement and fallen leaves.
